Program delivery update: Bilateral agreements and arrangements
The instructions related to the International Experience Canada (IEC) bilateral agreements and arrangements have been updated. Canada has signed an updated youth mobility agreement (YMA) with Italy that came into effect on November 1, 2022.

Instructions have been updated to provide additional information including: Categories are now identified as Gaining experience category (Category A) and Direct to permanent residence category (Category B) Clarification on language requirements Clarification on educational requirements
Study permits – Off-campus work
The instructions have been updated to reflect the off-campus work hours public policy for certain students that are permitted to work off campus more than 20 hours per week during an academic session if IRCC has received their study permit application on or before October 7, 2022.
