UK File process step by step

Step 1

Applying for Admission

1. Passport Front/Back (Bio Data Page)
2. All Educational documents including–
• 10/12 marksheets
• Bachelor’sDegree–1st/2nd/3rd Year Marksheets
• Provisional/Degree Certificate.
3. Work Experience documents with contact numbers (if applicable).
4. Updated Resume
5. Filled and Signed Application Form (If required ,depending upon the university).
6. Statement of purpose (If Applicable).
7. PTE OR IELTS Score Card.
8. Letter of Recommendation (Compulsory for All Universities).

Step 2

The University will issue an Offer Letter. (Within 15-20 working days). With Conditions of Interview and Initial Deposit.

Step 3

After clearing the admission Interview from the University, the applicant will pay the Tuition Fee (Directly to the University)(Partial and Full payment depends upon the university).

Step 4

As soon as students pay the fee, he/she will submit the required documents for CAS, like Funding(28DaysOld). along with

Financial Requirements:

  • Living Expenses are GBP1483*9 = GBP13,347
  • Living Expenses are GBP1136*9 = GBP10,224 for Outer London
  • Spouse Living Expenses are GBP845*9 = GBP7605 for Inner London Universities
  • Spouse Living Expenses are GBP680*9 = GBP6120 for Outer London Universities 

 

Types of Financials Acceptable by the UK High Commission:

  • Funds should be in the name of Applicant ,Applicant’s Parents & Spouse (Only If Spouse is Accompanying).
  • Should be 28 Days OLD (FD, Saving from Bank only).
  • Education
  • In the Case of Gold Loan, Agriculture Limit, or Personal Loan. (Applicant needs to Disburse Funds into the Bank Account and wait for 28 Days).

Step 5

After getting the final CAS Letter from the University (Takes 10-15 Days), you need to apply to the High Commission. And in UK, the file is submitted in 3 categories.

Categories of Student Visa file:-

Normal Visa Category – 45 days (55,000 INR)

Priority Visa Category – One week- 1,20,000 INR

Super Priority Visa Category – 2 days- 1,75,000 INR

Embassy fees + Biometric fees Charges – 61,832 INR (524 GBP)

 

  • Embassy Fee: £490 to apply fora studentvisa from outside the UK (Under Normal Process). Payment through Credit Card Only.
  • Immigration Health Service: £776 per year. The applicant needs to pay for an additional 6 months. If the Applicant is going for a 3 Year program, then the Applicant needs to pay for 3.5 years. ie  £776 * 3.5 years = £2716. Payment through Credit Card

Step 6

After lodgment, the applicant needs to go to VFS for Biometrics along with original documents and 1 Copy of Xerox. After that, the High Commission takes 2-3 weeks to share the Visa Update.

Step 7

After getting the Visa, the student can pay the rest of the fees and fly to the UK.

Refund Policy: You are encouraged to make the students read the university’s refund policy thoroughly before paying the fees and enrolling for the classes. All universities have their refund policies displayed on their websites for ease of reference.

Part-time work: Allowed 20 hours per week during studies, full-time during Vacations.

Post Study Work Permit Process in The UK

After completion of a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, students are eligible to apply for 2 2-year post-study work permit in the UK.

Upon receiving the degree from the university, students are required to fill the online application form for the post-study work permit.

During the 2-year work permit, the student is required to do 1 1-year field job or earn 38,800 GBP per annum, then the student is entitled to a 3-year additional work permit.

After completion of 5 years of work permit, the students are eligible to apply for their Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK, which is equivalent to Permanent Residence in the UK.

Permanent Residency:

Upon completing studies and gaining 7-8 years of work experience, a student becomes eligible to apply for Permanent Residency (PR).
